The Cornerstone Room

1. Introduction

Welcome to The Cornerstone Room. By booking and participating in a telephone support session, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Our Service

The Cornerstone Room provides confidential, non-judgemental telephone conversations for male professionals seeking a private space to talk, reflect and think more clearly.

This service is not counselling, psychotherapy, legal advice, financial advice, medical advice or crisis intervention. No diagnosis or treatment is provided.

3. Eligibility

Clients must be aged 18 years or over.

By booking a session, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate.

4. Confidentiality

Your conversations will be treated as confidential.

Confidentiality may be broken only where required by law or where there is a genuine concern that you or another person may be at immediate risk of serious harm.

5. Respectful Behaviour

The Cornerstone Room is committed to providing a safe and professional environment.

The following behaviour is not permitted:

  • Abusive or threatening language.

  • Harassment or discrimination.

  • Sexually explicit or inappropriate conversation directed towards the service provider.

  • Any illegal activity.

  • Recording the call without prior written permission.

Any call considered inappropriate may be terminated immediately.

No refund will be given where a call is ended because of inappropriate behaviour.

6. Payment

Payment must be made in full before your scheduled appointment.

Sessions are not confirmed until payment has been received.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before the agreed start time.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are non-refundable.

Failure to attend a scheduled session without notice will be treated as a missed appointment and no refund will be provided.

8. Late Arrival

If you are late for your appointment, the session will still end at the scheduled time.

If we are unable to begin your session due to technical difficulties on our side, every effort will be made to rearrange your appointment.

9. Emergency Situations

The Cornerstone Room is not an emergency or crisis service.

If you believe you are at immediate risk of harming yourself or someone else, or require urgent medical or mental health assistance, you should contact the emergency services by calling 999 or attend your nearest Accident and Emergency Department.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Cornerstone Room makes no guarantees regarding outcomes resulting from any conversation.

Clients remain responsible for all decisions, actions and consequences arising from discussions during or after a session.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Cornerstone Room accepts no liability for any direct or indirect loss arising from the use of this service.

11. Privacy

Personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.

12. Changes to These Terms

The Cornerstone Room reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
